Engage is the brainchild of noted marketing and technology entrepreneurs Jim Byrd and Shane Hackett. In 1996, Jim and Shane founded Fortune Financial Systems, Inc. an internet and business marketing and training company, and grew that company from revenues of $22,000 in October 1996 to over $100 million in revenues in 1997, eventually partnering with Success Magazine.
